Sharon Stone: Ages photos, Family, and Biography

Sharon Stone was a model before she entered the film industry. She was cast in films such as Total Recall and Irreconcilable Differents. Her dazzling performance in the film Basic Instinct brought a lot of buzz. She also appeared in Gloria, Sliver and If These Walls Could Talk 2. She was nominated, and she won an Academy Award for Casino. Stone decided to pursue acting in the 80s. She was in various film and television roles during the decade. In the 1984 comedy Irreconcilable Differences in which she was the lead character Blake Chandler. She also played a hilarious role in the comedy, Police Academy 4 : Citizens on Patrol (1987). Following her triumph she starred in a range of dramatic roles in films, including Last Dance (1996) and The Quick and the Dead (1995). The decade ended with a couple of mediocre films, such as Gloria in 1998, and Sphere in 1999. But she was highly praised for her performance as a comedian in The Muse in 1999. Stone was suffering from health issues in 2001 following an intense headache, which resulted in a brain hemorrhage. Stone got married to Michael Greenburg, a producer in 1984. Three years after, the couple broke up. She got married to Phil Bronstein, San Francisco Chronicle Executive editor of the Chronicle, in 1998. Prior to their divorce in 2004, they adopted Roan Joseph, their son. Stone has adopted two more sons since the time of their divorce: Quinn Kelly (2006) and Laird Vonne (2006).
