  Kerstin Marianne Ekberg (Swedish pronunciation (listen) 29 September 1931-11 January 2015) was an Swedish actress popular for her gorgeous shape and beauty. She was famous for her character as Sylvia in the Federico Fellini film La Dolce Vita (1960). Ekberg was born in Sweden on the 29th September 1931. She was the sixth child of eight. When she was in her teens, Anita worked as a fashion model. In response to the wishes from her mother Ekberg participated in Miss Malmo in 1950. This resulted in her winning the Miss Sweden contest. Even though she spoke very little English, Ekberg went to the United States to compete for the Miss Universe 1951 title. This was an non-official pageant at the time. Nicole Scherzinger, born June 29, 1978 in Honolulu was raised in Louisville. She was a high school student in performing arts. She was a winner of the Coca-Cola Classic Talent Contest.
