Shawn Killinger's Personal Life and Biography

Shawn Killinger, an American television anchor, reporter and newscaster, is currently working as a national program host for QVC. QVC is an online retailer and a TV-shopping company. She has been presenting a variety of items on QVC since 2007, and also launched her own blog. Shawn Killinger, who had just finished her college education and relocated to New York City in 1997 and was one of the very few who applied to the CBS Page Program. She was a set assistant to Dan Rather on the 'CBS Evening News. Later, she was a part of the seating team for viewers on the Late Show with David Letterman. The show lasted for two years. Joe Caretta is her husband, who she met through dating websites. She discusses her personal experiences and life with her followers. It is also a struggle to get pregnant. When she was unable to clarify the reasons behind her lengthy absence from the show, Killinger was forced to end her show. Killinger, besides being an accomplished journalist and TV host, is also known for her charitable work. Since 2008, Killinger has been active with the Make-A-Wish Foundation as its "Wish Granter" for life-threatening illnesses.
