Teryl Rothery

Teryl Rothery is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character as Dr. Janet Fraiser on Stargate SG-1. Other notable TV roles she's played include Lt. Maggie Weston on 'Exosquad, M.O.M. Carol Bloom in Martin Mystery', Grace Sherman and J.L. in 'The Good Doctor'. Rothery has also been in films such as "Magic in the Water", "Whisper", and "What is an Idiot". Rothery is a native British Columbian, has always dreamed of performing. At the age of thirteen, young, she began her career on stage as a dancer "Bye Bye Birdie. She received the Most Outstanding Performer award for her role in the show "Annie Get Your Gun" by her company in theatre. She is a skilled voice actor and started her career on television in 1986, as Mai who voiced the character on the BLT dub version of the Japanese anime Dragon Ball. A year later she was screen-actress in a show called 'Stingray'. Rothery has been active since the year 1980 has more than 170 credits across TV and film. Rothery made her debut on the big screen in the 1994 family drama film "Andre". She played Beth in the fantasy film of 1995, Magic in the Water. She also appeared in the direct-to-video film of 2005 The Sandlot 2". In the 2007 crime drama Whisper, she starred alongside Blake Woodruff and Jennifer Shirley. She has made her most recent film appearance in the romantic comedy of 2014 called 'What an Idiot.
