21 Savage was born Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph on October 22, 1992 , in Dominica, an island situated in the Caribbean. After his family moved to America, he spent his teenage years in Dacatur, a rough and slum of East Atlanta, Georgia. He was used to the violence and crime that he experienced as well as being a minor criminal in his "21" band.
