Adam G. Sevani Bio
Adam G. Sevani, born on June 29, 1992 was an American actor and dancer. Sevani is well-known for his portrayal of Robert Alexander III / Moose on the Step Up film series. In February 2008, Sevani appeared in the Touchstone Pictures dance drama film Step Up 2: The Streets which was the second installment of the Step Up film series. The story was about students who create a dance troupe to battle the streets. Sevani's performance as Robert "Moose" Alexander III was well-received by critics, such as The New York Times, for playing a character who "might be the most nerdy ever nerd in cinema history". The film was met with mixed reviews and eventually grossed more than $150 million worldwide. For his role in the film, Sevani received the "Best Scene Stealer" award at the 2008 Young Hollywood Awards. In May 2009 Sevani was confirmed to reprise the role of Moose in the third installment of the Step Up series. Filming was conducted in New York City on a $30 million budget. Step Up 3D is about Moose and Camille Alyson Stoner, his close friend, moving to New York City to begin University. Sevani's character gets mixed up in the underground dance scene. The film came out in August of 2010 to mixed reviews from critics. The film grossed over $159million worldwide as of August 2012. In July 2012 Sevani appeared in a brief scene from the series' fourth installment called Step Up Revolution. In 2014, Sevani once again reprised his role as Moose in the fifth installment of the Step Up film series, Step Up: All In.
