Denise Lee Richards, born February 17, 1971 was a fashion actress and model from the United States of America. She is 5'5 1/4 inches (1,66m) tall. In the late 1990s, she was a star in several films that showcased her sex appeal such as Starship Troopers and Wild Things. She appears in the reality TV show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated which is broadcast on American channel E!. Richards was the daughter of Joni Richards who was proprietor of a cafe, as well as Irv Richards (a phone engineer). Michelle Richards is her only sister, and she was raised in Mokena, Illinois. She graduated in 1989 from El Camino High School in Oceanside, California. She was the "only girl" on the baseball team when she was a kid. Richards was hired as a model by the Judith Fontaine Modeling & Talent Agency before becoming an actor. She spent the bulk of the 1990s appearing in lower-budget films and TV shows such as Saved by the Bell, television films, as well as guest starring in episodes of several TV shows, including Married with Children (1991) which was a five-second walkthrough. Her first role as a star in a wide theatrical release was Starship Troopers in 1997, which was followed by her performance in the moderately popular film that became a cult classic Wild Things in 1998.
