2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps, also known as 2 Chainz, is a hip hop artist and rapper from America. Georgia native, he formed the hip hop duo Playaz Circle together with a high school friend. Their first album, titled Supply & Demand", was a disappointing success. Epps released his album 'Based On a T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It was a huge hit, and debuted at the top of the charts at one on the US Billboard 200. Within the first week of release, it sold out to 147,000 copies. He has never been back from the album's success and rose to be one of the most admired rappers in America. He has been nominated for six Grammy awards so far and has won one, for his track 'No Problem'. In 2013, he caused controversy when he was caught with promethazine and marijuana on the flight departing from Los Angeles International Airport. However, his run-in with the law hasn't affected his popularity. His fourth and most recent studio album entitled "Pretty Girls Like Trap Music" was released in June of 2017. "Based on the T.R.U." Story, 2 Chainz' debut studio album, is his first major work and also his most successful. It was a huge hit and reached the top spot on the US Billboard 200. The album was also sold out within a few weeks. The album sold 623,000 copies over a year. It was nominated for the 55th Grammy Awards for 'Best Rap Album'. Most reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz got married to Kesha Ward on March 31, 2013. The couple are the proud parents of three children, Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He has a very successful career, but the man is also famous for his mistakes in the legal system. He has been arrested many times for drug possession.
