Priyanka Chopra Biography

Priyanka Chopra was born on July 18, 1982, in Jamshedpur, India. Chopra was in high school when she was crowned Miss India. She then was the winner of the 2000 Miss World pageant. Following that international triumph, Chopra turned her sights to the film world and became a huge star in the Bollywood system. Chopra made waves on American television with Quantico, the FBI drama Quantico that aired from 2015 to 2018, and became a major news item with her marriage to singer and actor Nick Jonas in December 2018. Her debut Bollywood film, The Hero - Love Story of a Spy was released in 2003. In the same year she also acted in Andaaz. The film was the beginning of a lengthy film series that comprised Plan, Kismat (a romantic comedy about an espionage operative), Asambhav, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Aitrazz, and Asambhav -- all of which came out in 2004. These films didn't do well at the box office and Chopra was successful with her romantic comedy Mujhse Karogi. At the age of 20, Chopra made her debut in the 2002 film Thamizhan and followed it that same year with Jeet: Born to Win. Chopra admitted that her debut film was an awful experience. "I would have loved to get out of the business after I had done it! "I didn't know what was going on." Nick Jonas, actor and actress has made their relationship public in the summer 2018. News of their engagement came in July of this year, and Jonas reported to have popped the question on Chopra's birthday, which was her 36th birthday. The pair married in an extravagant wedding that lasted for several days beginning on the 1st day of December.
