Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28, 1977. She is an American actress. Her roles include Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice acting were also performed for Tess in the videogame by Naughty Dog The Last of Us. Wersching was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She went to high school at Crossroads College Preparatory School in the Central West End of St. Louis where she graduated in 1995. In her early years she took part in Irish dance and was a member of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University awarded her a Bachelor in Fine Arts in Musical Theatre in 1999. Wersching started her acting career by appearing as a guest on Star Trek: Enterprise. She then went on to be a guest star on shows like Charmed Killer Instinct, Charmed, and Supernatural. From March 2007 until November 2007, she was playing the role of Amelia Joffe on ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital. Additionally, she performed in theaters such as Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. In 2014, she appeared as a regular on the first season of Amazon Prime crime show Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher on 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor and mo-cap actor of Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. The character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was finally seen in the trailer which was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching was to play the role of the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
