Alona Tal

Alona Tal is an Israeli-American actor and singer. Her birthplace was in Herzliya on October 20, 1983. Her professional career began shortly after serving in the Israeli Defense Forces. Her breakthrough came in 2003 when she appeared in an Israeli film. She also was a part of two TV shows in the country. She did some music as well, recording several songs together with Israeli rapper Subliminal. Tal moved in with her sister in New York to take a time out from her work. She worked with Wyclef Jean who is an Haitian artist, on the song "Party to Damascus". American television also helped her rise to fame, beginning with a recurring part on the TV show Veronica Mars. She initially attempted to audition for the role of lead but the creator Rob Thomas created a new character for her. Tal eventually was offered a regular position in the CBS series. After making the move to New York, he appeared in two television shows in Israel. Recorded a track with the singer Wyclef Jean. Her mother tongue is Hebrew. Second place for the role as Veronica Mars (2004). She was originally auditioned and Rob Thomas' second choice. Thomas loved her so much that he made the role of Meg Manning specifically for her. She was a member of the Israel Defense Forces. Both of her parents are Jewish Her father is a Turkish/Jewish man, and her mother Polish/Jewish. Acts as Adrian Monk’s daughter in the show's final episode. Her father is Turkish/Jewish. Her mother is Polish/Jewish.
