Missy Peregrym Bio

Missy was born in Montreal, Quebec. She lived the majority of her adult life in Surrey, British Columbia with her father (a minister) as well as her mother (a sister and two brothers). When she was 18 she began modeling and began her career as a front camera model. The print ads soon turned into commercials for Mercedes Benz and Sprint Canada. Hollywood was quickly appearing on the scene. Missy was the debut appearance in the drama series Dark Angel (2000) opposite Jessica Alba. After that, she was chosen to play Julia in the critically acclaimed television series The Chris Isaak Show (2001). The show then offered her the part as Tory Stratton, Black Sash's leading lady in the year 2003. She also appeared on the TV shows Life as We Know It (2004) and Reaper (2007). Missy was the main character in Stick It (2006), an upcoming film that focused on gymnastics. In ABC's prime-time police program Rookie Blue (2010), she played Andy McNally (police officer). Missy is a committed soccer player. But, her current schedule requires her to stop playing at times. She is a snowboarder, and also outdoors sports within the Vancouver mountains. She lives in Vancouver with her family.
