Kaitlyn Anne Vincie

Kaitlyn Anne Vinciewas born on 10th December 1987 She is an American journalist and sports broadcaster. As reporter for Fox NASCAR, she presents on their news and update program NASCAR Race Hub. Vincie was first drawn to stock car racing when she was awarded the pit lane pass. After graduating from Christopher Newport University she worked at Langley Speedway as a reporter. Vincie gained attention when her self-made videos of her blogs about NASCAR were posted on the stock car racing site SceneDaily. Vincie was born on December 10, 1987, in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and was raised in Bridgewater before her family relocated to Warrenton when Vincie had started high school. Vincie is the granddaughter and daughter of John Vincie and Margaret Vincie. Vincie's grandmother Eleanor N. Logan (a fifth-grade teacher) was her grandfather, who was part of Bridgewater's faculty. From an early age she was interested in journalism. Vincie graduated from Fauquier High School, in 2006. Vincie was a track and field athlete and was a manager for the school's wrestling team for four years. Vincie was the winner of the 800m race of the AAA Cedar Run District. Vincie was introduced to Al Pearce, a journalist who mentored her and provided Vincie plenty of tips. In 2010, Vincie completed her degree at Christopher Newport University with a bachelor's in communications. Vincie was an intern for the Athletics Department of the university. Vincie also held a similar position for the USAR Pro Cup Series, Charlotte Motor Speedway. She wrote a senior dissertation about gender-based disparities in auto racing which focused on female race car driver Danica Patrick. She was fascinated by the sport when she was granted a pit lane pass for the NASCAR All-Star Race. Her influences include Wendy Venturini, Krista Volda and Wendy Venturini.
